The Loom of Fate (Young Adult fantasy novel)

Banjo Northgate and his annoying schoolmate Desmond, two modern American kids, are magically transported to Viking-Age Iceland and travel through Scandinavia and the mythic realms of Niflheim, Asgard, and Jotunheim to recover the Loom of Fate, which was stolen by the god Loki and hidden amongst the giants.

Even the Smallest Creature (Middle Grade novel)

12-year-old orphan Christopher Byrde lives alone with his cruel guardian, Miss Portense Stern, on California's central coast. He has three days to discover his parents' will and come in to his own.

Kitchen Girl (Young Adult historical novel)

Enid works in a castle kitchen in 14th-century Germany. She discovers that she is more than she seems when a strange woman visits.
